Yoga Series for Tweens/Teens: 10 Classes
Fridays, 4:30 pm-5:30 pm
We offer classes for teens between the ages of 11-18 years old. These 60-minute classes are organized into 10-week series through-out the school year. We encourage students to sign up for the full series, although drop-ins are permitted.
Now, more than ever, young people experience a tremendous amount of stress. Suddenly, everything matters-your grades, how you dress, whether you make the team. Teens and tweens need a place to learn how to tap into what really matters-their innate strength and courage. Learning the practice of yoga is fundamental to good mental hygiene that will serve you throughout your life. Our teen and tween classes are slow moving easy Vinyasa classes which include breathing practices, relaxation and meditation, along with some soothing restorative poses. This practice is perfect for the end of the school week!
