“Char and Ravi are wonderful instructors. They are down to earth, supportive, encouraging, and genuine. There are a variety of classes at convenient times. I really appreciate the atmosphere of the studio. This is not a pretentious place. Everyone is so easy going. Classes are fun, challenging, and relaxing. This place is like my home away from home!”Nikki T.

“I am a beginner and new to Yoga Station. I had a fantastic class with Char – it felt appropriately challenging and a true all-levels session. Char is warm and inviting and it felt like a “judgement-free” zone which I really enjoyed as a newbie. She also made adjustments to my poses and was very encouraging throughout which I appreciated. I’m excited for my next class. Highly recommend!”

“Yoga Station is a beautiful, clean, spacious studio located literally ten steps from the Hartsdale train station. The owners, Char and Ravi, are skilled yoga practitioners who give thoughtful classes which challenge me and and help my practice grow. They both give incredible adjustments/corrections and I constantly find myself thinking, “oh, I finally get it!!” Yoga Station is a non-competitive, non-judgmental atmosphere where one can learn some awesome asana, not worry about cool “yoga” clothes or “keeping up” with the class. This place meets you exactly where you are — wherever that is!”

“The owners Char and Ravi have created a non-judgmental atmosphere for the practice of yoga. I feel I am among friends while there, and my wife and I have made some good friends over the past few years, thanks to our association with the Yoga Station. In addition to Char and Ravi’s classes that they personally teach, there is a good mix of instructors that naturally have different styles, so no two yoga sessions are the same. I would like to see more classes offered, particularly on Friday evenings, and also more of the restorative yoga, that is currently offered in only one slot on Wednesday evenings. I encourage more people to come here so that can happen! If you like yoga, you’ll love the Yoga Station!”

“If you are looking for a place where there truly are no judgments, where the process is the point, where the work is on a physical, mental and emotional level and where the atmosphere is light, friendly, accepting and supportive with a focus on building a sense of community while we travel our own individual journeys on the path of yoga, then Yoga Station is the place for you. There’s just enough laughter to keep it light and just enough silence to have a spiritual practice without it being too phoney “Namaste-y”. Char and Ravi are keeping it real, and there’s no feeling of having to be anywhere in your practice but where you are.”

“Took my first class today. It was absolutely wonderful. Char is kind, patient, and so supportive. The atmosphere is very friendly with a mixed group of participants. Will definitely be back.”

“I recently discovered The Yoga Station and have been taking their classes every chance I get. Many of the classes are taught by the owner, Char, who truly embodies the yoga spirit. The classes are well paced and well taught and Char is always quick with a gentle hands-on repositioning. Yoga Station is a pleasant and peaceful place to practice yoga and I highly recommend it.”

“It doesn’t get better than this! Char is the sweetest, most patient and most capable instructor I’ve ever encountered; it’s simply a joy to be in one of her classes. And the studio is just a yoga studio filled with a calm, friendly vibe: no tap, jazz, aerobics or miscellaneous spa treatments–just great yoga, pure and simple.”

“As a beginner I found a welcoming group and laughter. Also I haven’t felt this good in a long time!”
